That was the driving force behind the creation of the Outdoor Heroes website; our thrilling initiative aimed at inspiring a new generation to embrace environmental stewardship and connect with nature in exciting ways. Bold colours and subtle nods to iconic Marvel characters gave a call to action for youth to explore the outdoors. Hidden "easter eggs" offered fun surprises throughout, transforming it into a digital adventure akin to flipping through the pages of a captivating comic. However, fate had different plans, and our steps to bring the festival to life were thwarted by the relentless grip of the pandemic, leaving it branded with a big ol' COVID cancellation stamp. Yet, even though the project never materialized, we can still cherish the excitement of what might have been.
